브라질의 유일무이한 존재 
에이토르 빌라로부스를 만나보자.

빌라로부스는 평생 동안
수천 곡의 작품을 써냈다.
바흐조차도
초라해 보이게 만들 정도의 방대한 양이다.

빌라로부스의 다면적 영향력은
오늘 음악에 분명하게 나타난다.

모음곡의 각 제목은
유럽의 전통 무곡(가보트 등)과
브라질 전통 무곡(쇼루)을 결합한 것이다.

쇼루는 19세기 리우데자네이루에서
유래한 춤곡으로 예로부터
전국의 거리에서 울려 퍼지던 음악이다.
